The Race Training Group that was started last fall was a big success! We are taking it to the next level by making it a year-round activity. You may be familiar with the saying that "great skiers are made in the summer." The idea is that building a good base of fitness in the summer will lead to better performance in the winter months. If you are already fit by the time the snow comes you can focus on technique and ski-specific fitness.
We will start on May 20th with a meeting to talk about building a training plan for the summer months and beyond. We will discuss the elements of a good training plan and how to create one of your own. In addition we'll look at tools for purchasing a plan and managing your training.
