Ski Lesson Instructions

Registration for Tuesday lessons will begin November 3rd and end December 31st. Registration will be open through deadline or until classes are filled. Club membership is required to sign up for lessons.

Please read the description for each class. Registrants should self-select the appropriate level that fits their ability and experience.

Cancellations will be updated on Facebook and email but in general we try to go out no matter the weather conditions.

    Yoga classes will address body areas that are the primary movers in
    skiing -the areas that get sore, overused, tight, and injured.

    Gain strength in important XC skiing muscle groups.
    Make improvements in balance.
    Make new ski friends and have fun! 

    Hill work will be incorporated into each class workout - trail shoes recommended. Please bring a set of dumbbells, yoga mat and water bottle.

    Lessons are geared toward beginner and intermediate skiers and will have different sections depending on ability. Whether you’re new to the sport or have been skiing for years, this is your chance to get some technique help that will make your skiing more efficient and enjoyable.

If you have had some instruction or experience with proper technique, various ski strokes (double polling, striding), hill climbing and descent, body mechanics, weight transfer, etc., this group is for you. You will be working on improving timing and balance, learning new strides (step turns), gaining more confidence on downhills and maximizing efficiency for longer ski outings. Skiers will be divided into small groups based on technique and ability. Once registered, watch your email for further instructions.
